Gov. Neil Abercrombie has a fundraiser for his re-election campaign Tuesday night in Washington, D.C.

The suggested donation for the event is $1,000 to $2,500.

The Hawaii Democrat is in the nation's capital for the winter meeting of the National Governors Association.

Abercrombie is up against state Sen. David Ige in the Democratic primary. The governor holds a sizable fundraising advantage over the state senator.

Donations to canidates should be counted as income
and added to the gross total income for each Politician.

I hope the Abercrombie campaign pays a pro-rated portion of this trip.
