First two

April 16th, 2014

Former Lt. Gov.  James "Duke" Aiona has started fundraising for his Republican campaign for governor.

Aiona held a $50 per person fundraiser in Kapolei on April 5 and has a $55 per person event scheduled for Waialae Country Club on Wednesday night.

Aiona, who lost to Gov. Neil Abercrombie in 2010, had not been aggressively raising money when he informally rolled out his campaign earlier this year.

Sorry, the only thing stopping Hawaii from becoming a RED state or one party state is
the need for a Democrat Governor...republicans are like communist, talking of one party..
wearing red like British Redcoats while Americans wear Blue...

America needs to paint a White line between Red and Blue and make America, America..
Maybe the republicans should realize The Civil War has ended. I guess republicans
want to bring back the Confederacy...A republic like in Russia or North Korea...

  2. Kris:

    Your statement is just IGNORANT

  3. Eric Ryan:

Moron alert. Especially Incognito is on the scene. That's what this world needs: cowardly, pseudonym-clad morons who think Republicans are more like communists than socialist-leaning Democrats. Puh-leez. I guess Republicans want to take everyone's guns away and hike taxes and regulate jobs right out of the economy. Stay tuned for Especially Incognito's incoherent response and that of his/her scaredy-cat anonomous fellow travelers.

  4. Especially Incognito:

Talking to me Kris....In what way is my statement ignorant?...
If it is ignorant, it caught your attention....Prove me wrong...

  6. Bob:

Incognito remember this...Hawaii has had only two Republican governors in its 50 years plus of existance. Republicans have only held a majority in the legislature once, in the Senate for two years on the 60s. And under one party rule, Hawaii has become the most expensive place to live, with the highest number of immigrants holding the lowest paying jobs. If this is what you want for America, then perhaps Hawaiian activists are right...it is time for a revolution to bring back Hawaiian conservatism and get ALL the foriegn influnce out of these precious islands.

  7. Especially Incognito:

    Libertarian is overwhelming...
Hawaii is also part of 50 States...
    republicans talk of 1 party..
    Wear Red..and calls democrats, Communists..
President Obama uses executive power as The Little Red Hen...

Hawaii is an island run by corrupt 5..Old news..
Hawaii was run by a King and it pospered till missionaries
came and made Hawaii the Mainland...You cannot run an Island
like the mainland...Hawaii is expensive because Hawaii is a pawn
    and it's people are pawns...

ex-governor lingle ran Hawaii broke as well using mainland republican rules..
Not for the people but for the party..You say one party rule which in your
comment meaning republican or you would have mentioned democrats as well.
REPUBLICANs created wars...1% over 99%..Which party made Hawaii the most expensive?

  8. Especially Incognito:

Hawaii used to grow its own food..Hawaii is a tourist spot that
imports products from China...You buy a hula doll that is Made in China..
America by 1% sold out To China...

America is paid by Chinese and foreign investors..
Made in America? 1% want to bring back slavery and use
the 99%...Who divided Americans by percentage? mutt romney
    and crew..
