Gov. Neil Abercrombie's latest television advertisement for his re-election campaign centers on assistance for the elderly.

The script:

Woman: “My father was worried he’d have to leave his home and move into some facility”

Announcer: “Mr. Saito loves being home. Taking care of things. But he also needs help. And it’s more than his family was equipped to give.”

Abercrombie: “During the past three years, we’ve been able to give more assistance for in-home care. Because all our Mr. Saitos deserve to be stay-at-home dads if they want to be.”

Announcer: “The right priorities, the right values, the right Governor.”

Abercrombie is up against state Sen. David Ige in the Democratic primary.

2 Responses to “`Priorities'”

  1. Especially Incognito:

He seems to want to intern and relocate Mr. Saito...

  2. Pay to play is the game:

This ad looked like Neil should have been the stay at home person instead of Mr. Saito. Let's remember that folks, Neil will be the stay at home politician starting on August 10th!
