`Independent style'

June 10th, 2014

U.S. Sen. John McCain has endorsed former congressman Charles Djou, who is making a third attempt to return to Congress.

Several Democrats are competing to go up against the Republican, including state Senate President Donna Mercado Kim and state Rep. K. Mark Takai.

From the Arizona Republican:

I have been impressed by Charles’ independence and integrity as a state legislator, city councilman and congressman.  Even more important, as one veteran to another, I am proud of Charles’ service to our country in Afghanistan. As a political maverick myself, I respect Charles’ independent style of politics.  America needs good people with strong credentials and a willingness to stand up for what is right against the corrosive special interests in Washington D.C.

are not the repubs in Washington corrosive too?

Derrick you did not mention the other candidates in the race. There are more than mark and donna.

Tch. Like any D candidate other than DMK and KMT can win that primary. Look for KMT to upset DMK's California Chrome (and watch DMK complain like the horse's owner).

    Innocent O? Any clever 007 movie-class quip?
