Equality Hawaii Action Fund, the main interest group behind the campaign for marriage equality in Hawaii last year, has endorsed U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz.

Schatz is facing U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa in the Democratic primary.

"In the end, our decision came down to a question of who would step out in front, who would lead on our issues, and we have no doubt Brian Schatz will continue to do that for us in the U.S. Senate,” Kory Rosette, who serves on the group's board, said in a statement. “But we are pleased to note that both Sen. Schatz and Rep. Hanabusa are supporters of marriage equality, bullying prevention, and so many other issues that are important to us and our community."

Nuff with color and gender preference.
    Deal with illegal immigrants that
are coming into America and taking
    away American jobs.

Much is not known, I assumer but many illegal immigrants
come to Hawaii then fly over to the Mainland.
Hawaii is the gateway to illegal transactions.
Since many illegal immigrants can blend
in with "Locals", they can easily fly
here and there without question. Just
listen to them speak with an accent.

    correction: not assumer but assume.
