Four forums

Gov. Neil Abercrombie and state Sen. David Ige have agreed to appear at four forums across the state hosted by AARP Hawaii.

The events with the Democratic contenders for governor are scheduled for July 18 in Kahului, July 28 in Hilo, July 29 in Kona, and Aug. 2 in Honolulu.

The candidates are also set to appear at a forum by the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce on July 29.

The only scheduled televised debates so far are Thursday night on PBS Hawaii and next Thursday's event with Hawaii News Now and the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

    the Mainland where Governor Abercrombie
    is getting donations.

    and is no wheres to be seen in Hawaii.
