IBEW endorsement

July 21st, 2014

Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui has earned the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1260.

The endorsement was announced Sunday in a news release.

Brian Ahakuelo, the union's business manager/financial secretary, said in a statement:

“Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui comes from a working class family with strong local roots. With a growing family of his own, he understands what we need to make Hawaii a viable place to raise families. We at Local 1260 are very proud and honored to support Shan’s campaign for lieutenant governor."

The IBEW Local 1260 represents over 3,200 utility, broadcast, service maintenance and service contract employees in Hawaii and Guam.

Yeah, but name one thing *HE* did as a Senator, Senate President, or Lt. Governor. One of the first things he did as Senate President was give the Judiciary Committee back to Clayton Hee after Hanabusa pulled him from that post following just one year as a wrecking ball disaster. Hee got a big fleet of offices, bigger staff, biggest ego. Bet Tsutsui now regrets giving new life to the beast banished to the frontier by his predecessor.
