Women Vote!, a political arm of EMILY's List, has invested in more media advertisements and direct mail on behalf of U.S. Rep. Colleen Hanabusa, who is challenging U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz in the Democratic primary.

The group has spent an additional $75,000 on media and $16,265 on direct mail, for a total of more than $460,490, according to federal independent expenditure reports.

EMILY's List supports Democratic women who favor abortion rights.

    Had it with Emily's List already.

    But just another reason NOT to vote for HanaBuSa; and it makes a Grease downright giddy to realize she will LOSE votes because of this very endorsement alone.

    Brass tacks: Just because Roe v. Wade is the law of the land doesn't make abortion right. Remember those times when YOU were caught breaking the law? And expected to "gimme one chance, officah?". Yeah. Same thing.

    And Lefties? Don't give me the coat hanger argument until you're willing to accept the sound argument for the 2nd Amendment in cases wis here a cracked-/heroin'd-/cocained-/think marijuana should be legal-upped addict/idiot trying to bust down your door at 2am in the morning.
