Drunk history

The late U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye's heroism in World War II gets the treatment in an upcoming episode of "Drunk History" on Comedy Central.

Inouye was awarded the Medal of Honor for his sacrifices on the battlefield in Italy, where he lost his right arm in combat.

For readers who have not seen the show, "Drunk History" features actors narrating great moments in history while intoxicated.

Inouye, who had a devilish sense of humor, would no doubt have appreciated the distinction.

I'm sorry I watched that. It's not funny, it's stupid.

  2. innocent observer:

so stupid. this is an insult to senator Inouye. these birds should be castrated. bunch of dufuses.

This IS funny. And except for certain mispronunciations, this is accurat.e (is this what you guys are missing, too?)

And Inouye would probably be the first cracking up at this!

And Steve Yeun (The Walking Dead; not trying to be funny here -- THAT SHOW IS Yeun's claim to fame!) as Inouye; Yeun would BE GREEEEEEAAAAT playing Inouye in a feature film.

You don't normally see funny stuff on Comedy Central, but, THIS is funny. Yeun/Inouye losing it while in line to enlist ("I'm ready to rock and roll with this s--t" hahah!), ahahhaha!!!! Don't you want our great Senator to have reacted JUST THAT WAY????? :) Lighten up. :)

Stupid seems funny when you're drunk. That's the nature of being drunk. The next day, and forever after, though, it's just stupid. Unless, of course, you get drunk again. People can be divided into two groups of thought on this: Those who get drunk regularly will think it's funny, those who don't get drunk regularly will think it's stupid.

    I think it's stupid.

So, if a Grease is to understand this . . . "this is stupid" to you, ergo (and vice versa) you don't drink regularly, then? You sincerely say that you don't drink regularly? If we asked people close to you, they'd say, "who, Arnie? Nah. He no drink plenny." Yeah? They'd say that? OOOOOOOO.K.

See, a Grease don't drink at all. And HE THINK THE VIDEO FUNNY. So, we know you're no expert on this matter, Arnie. A Grease's vice(s)? Being a paid blogger (which is a new one on me), apparently.
